before anything, is there any wonder why a classmate and I can't see eye to eye? screw him, and all who thinks like him! gawdddd.

so what happened was this. (the convo was on msn la)

he: hello. doing housework?
me: no. packing. why?
he: oh. gal ma.

and when i asked why, i meant "why, anything the matter?" not "why should I be doing housework?".

like, why would I be doing housework? I mean, just because I'm a girl, and I appear as 'away' doesn't mean I'm doing housework! I could be happily living my life, as I'm appearing 'away' on msn! (FYI, I was just packing the luggage, but that's beside the point). The way he said it, it's like, oh, a girl equals MUST do housework. WHY? Please, which century is it already! Do you even know that house-husbands exists? Do you know that facials/spas and pampering are not only for ladies nowadays? In fact, there is a place specially for guys to do such things! wake up your ideas! We girls deserve as much respect as you guys. Just because we care about the house and cleans up after slugs like you doesn't mean that we are born solely to clean the house for you. Without us, see how far you can go on la! "Behind every successful man is an even more successful woman". See, we work behind the screen! Screw it man. I so don't want the holidays to end. To breathe the same air as you? Argh!

It doesn't sound like much, and it makes me look like a real sensitive person, but really, it's all about the tone! fug it. I can't stand that tone. In fact, i can't stand it when a guy thinks its his god-given right to let a female do everything. Like, when u see a sec sch kid with his mama still doing everything for him. Ah, that's another rant. I shall stop.

p.s.: and because of him, i left the room in a huff to ask mom smth. and i shut the doors on my fingers. yes, doorS. mom's room and mine. double the pain, double the shame. arghhhh.
