My birthday! Was yesterday.

Eating out with friends are always enjoyable, more so, with ahem. So of course, my bd lunch/dinner was nice. Of course, it wasn't just the person. The people serving us was nice as well.

So this place, Tao's at paradiz centre, is perfect for me, because I'm always overwhelmed when there's too many dishes on the menu to choose from.

For the lunch menu, it's a 6 course affair. (Appetizer, salad, soup, main, drink, dessert). Thankfully, for each, there's only a few dishes to choose from. (yay!)

Nuff said, pictures will tell it all.

Appetizer was too appetizing, so there's no pictures. But it's like, gratin, straight from the oven! And free flow of toasted thick bread! Then salads were too blurred, so no pics too.

But here's his soup, served in a teapot! :D

and his main dish, sting ray. Super big portion, and the first time I ate sting rays! Loved the spicy sauce. =D

and my main, unagi. Super small portion, but due to the appetizer, I was totally grateful for the smaller portion.

And lastly, our dessert!

Brownie w/ ice cream; tofu cheesecake

As for the drinks, it's lovely! I had the rose apple tea, and it came in a teapot, with real dried rose buds and apples in it! It was a bit too sweet, but overall, refreshing! My tea seems rather girly, buttttttttt, I like~ :D

He had the grape mellow, and the sweetness was just right. It didn't have grapes in it, but it had I think, dried lavender flowers in it! Again, refreshing.

But but but, best part was my present! It's so amazingly sweet and thoughtful and everything nice, that for the first time ever, I experienced tears of happiness. See see see!

At first, I thought it was a doll house. End up, it was a musical-box toy house! And details are reserved. And yes, it's the best birthday present ever, after the ones my friends gave me. Sadly, it's a confirmed fact that it'll be the last. Guys; boo!

So that explains why I was so happy yesterday. Then today, my classmates gave pz and I a surprise present, plus cake! :D
"Happy birthday to both-of-you, happy birthday to you!" lol!

So here's mine.

A box,

An explainatory manual,

And loads of sweets to keep me on a perpetual sugar high!

And no, they didn't only give me sweets, they gave me a water bottle too! (What's wrong with my previous one! :P)

And and, a big big pencil case/ pouch, because they know how much I love to stuff my small pencil case with a gazillion things. <3
Goes to show how much one can know about you after 1.5 years eh? Scary :(

So to summarise, my 18th birthday was the best so far!

A mere thank you just wouldn't suffice. But really, thanks you guys, for the wonderful presents you got for me!

Go ahead if you want, of course, to make my year and give me an even more memorable one for my 21st birthday!~ =X

P.S. Happy birthday bro!
