Authors are amazing. How can they transport me into somebody's life and make me feel somebody's pain, joy, fear, etc just like that? How can they tug at my heart, hate a character I don't even know and get me anxious for characters?

Sometimes, after reading for a few hours, I'll look up and need a few seconds to figure out where I actually am.
Sometimes, after the end of a book, I feel sad for the loss of my 'friends'; characters from the book.
Sometimes, if I'm in the middle of a book and have to leave, I'll hurry my tasks to get back to them.
Sometimes, I think that I can just spend forever with the people I meet in stories.
Sometimes, I think I'm getting lost in their world. Blissfully lost.

Authors are magical, and I'm glad they're what they are. :)
